Miko?ajki
Miko?ajki (German Nikolaiken) a city with 3.800 inhabitants is in that Woiwodschaft Ermland Masuren. It lies nearby of the Spirdingsee, largest the that masurischen lakes. In administrative regard the city belongs to Powiat Mr?gowski. To 1945 belonged the city to District Sensburg in the province East Prussia.

History
Nikolaiken is an old Kirchdorf in Masuren, that 1444 for the first time one mentioned. The three settlement cores were in 18. Century so far together grown, that the locality 1726 those Municipal rights were granted. By the situation to Spirdingsee the fishery was always an important branch of trade in Nikolaiken. In particular the Nikolaiker Maraenen made the small city far over East Prussia outside admits. In the Second World War Nikolaiken was not destroyed as one few cities in East Prussia. Already before the war it was visited much of strangers and is also today undisputed one of the largest routistic centers in Masuren. In the winter is that Ice sails a special Atttraktion.
