the term environment [miˈljøː] (French - center) designated:
- generally the whole of the natural, outside environment (bspw. in biology, chemistry, geography)
- in the sociology the social environment (standards, laws, value conceptions), see social environment
- in the colloquial language often alsoCircles of acquaintances (limited parts of the social environment of the respective individuals), those with prostitution, criminality o. A. in connection to be brought (“the environment”, the gangster environment, which drug environment…).
