Mississippium

the Mississippium is a geological Sub period carbon, which is divided into the anglo-saxon linguistic area. It lasted from 359,2 to 318.1 mya. It is dated on the basis Gesteinsformationen, which are opened today by the Mississippi and numerous fossils contained.

The carbon divides into two Subperioden, whereby the Mississippium lying, which is hanging Pennsylvanium.
