NHL 1974/75
the NHL season 1974/75 was the 58. Play time in that national Hockey League. 18 teams played in each case 80 plays. The Stanley Cup won the Philadelphia of Flyers after a 4:2 - success in the final series against the Buffalo Sabres. With the Washington Capitals and the Kansas town center Scouts again two teams had been added and one decided for the first time to play in NHL history in two Conferences with two groups each. The groups were designated after four large managers of NHL history, Lester Patrick, Conn Smythe, Jim Norris and Jack Adam. After all a Trophy had been already designated. Bobby Orr and Phil Esposito had their last common high point in bad clay/tone. Esposito was with its 61 gates for the sixth time in consequence best goal scorer, Orr was as a defender with 135 points Topscorer and obtained projecting 46 gates. It got the James Norris Memorial Trophy for the best defender to the respected mark in consequence, could however due to its weak knees never more a complete season play. In the Play Offs the New York Islanders already lagged behind against the Penguins with 0:3 plays. Coach aluminium Arbour brought Glenn Resch for Billy Smith in the gate and created with its team still the turn. So far only had succeeded to the Toronto Maple Leafs 1942.
