Nevill F. Mott
Sir Nevill Francis Mott (* 30. September 1905 in Leeds; † 8. August 1996 in Milton Keynes) was an English physicist.
Mott received 1977 together with Philip W. Anderson one and John H. van Vleck physics - Nobelpreis “for the fundamental theoretical achievements to the electronic structure in magnetic and unordered systems ".
It was member of the Royal Society (London) and that internationally Academy OF Science.
After Mott the Mott dispersion and the Mott insulator are designated.
