Nod rattling clay/tone
nod rattling clay/tone was one between 1950 and 1959 in the German pictorial „Quick “appearing Comicserie with the main figure of a master detective of the same name.
Author and a draughtsman of the series was actually Manfred Schmidt, that with rattling clay/tone according to own statement the American Superman - Comics parodieren wanted.
With many, often political side blows on the restaurant miracle time, on Adenauer & Ko. equipped stories appeared first weekly with in each case two strips in the Quick, whereby the lengths of stories between 11 and 38 consequences covered.
Starting from 1952 anthologies appeared, inthose two to three of the rattling on episodes in revised form were published in each case. In the Siebzigern stories were combined first into two volumes, published afterwards then in a volume as „total expenditure “, in which however two episodes were missing. Only with the expenditure for anniversary from 1998 is onereal total expenditure available - however stories are not contained in the chronological order also here.

Under the direction of Hans Quest played the main role Karl Lieffen. In addition played with: Gert Fröbe, the Kabarettisten Wolfgang Mueller and Wolfgang Neuss, Günter Pfitzmann and Susanne Cramer in the role of the Gloria. The music came from Willy matte, that and. A. also the music to the Edgar Wallace films the frog with the mask (1959) and the red circle (1960) wrote.
A further material film with the title „nodRattling clay/tone - the film “with Jens shepherd in the main role, was turned in the year 2002. The manufacturing firm had to announce however bankruptcy and the film to the bankrupt's estate belonged there, it was so far officially not published. A test demonstration during „the residents of Munich film week “produced miserable criticisms.
