That Number (Plural: Numbers) is in that Grammar a counting ranking among the regulation of Quantitiespriorities, thus to the definition and/or distinction of the number.
It gives depending upon Language the following forms: Singular, Binarily, Trial, Quadral, Paukal, Plural. For example the classical orders Arab, that Hebrew one, that Slovenian one and that Sorbi for all nouns and verbs over dual forms. Many non-European languages, about that Chinese one, know however no number.
In German of it the Singular (singular) is common as well as the Plural (majority).
The use of the correct number is important with the following Kinds of word: Noun, Adjective, Verb, Article and Pronomen.
There are also words, occur either only in the singular or only in the majority; these hot Singulariatantum and/or. Pluraliatantum.
