Obertraun is a municipality in upper Austria in the district Gmunden in the trusting quarter with 767 inhabitants. The responsible court district is bath Ischl.

Geografie

Obertraun is on 511 m height in the trusting quarter because of the Hallstätter lake. The expansion amounts to from north to south 11.6 km, from west to east 13.4 km. The total area amounts to 88.4 km ². 15.5% of the surface are wooded. Local parts of the municipality are: Obertraun, Winkl.

for history original in the East part of the duchy Bavaria, the place belonged to 12 since that.
