Local situation
a local situation (English: settlement, hamlet) designates in the topographya coherent, with houses cultivated surface of a locality individually or closed. A local situation is not independent administrative unit.
In the common linguistic usage the terms go frequently in disorder to the administrative division. Thus for example in Berlin local situations are often called as “dependent local parts” or also falsely local parts. This therefore agitates often that up to the administrative reform many of the today's official local parts themselves were urban districts. With the Herabstufung of the districts to local parts many of the former local parts now were down-gradated to local situations.
In the South German linguistic area local situations are called frequently Weiler.
Isolated also the term Kiez for local situations is used, this means however rather a social structure.
