one
found the grave of a Wikingerfrau to eye mountain ship under a grave hill in the year 1904 from the year 834. This (is enough) woman, possiblythe queen Åsa, was buried in a grave chamber behind the mast of the ship. This grave find is so far the richest and most important from the Wikingerzeit. The ship is so magnificently verziert that one regards it as a royal yacht or for a Zeremonialschiff. That approx.24m long ship, a Wikingerlangschiff, was reconstructed and is in the Wikingermuseum from Oslo to to be seen.
