Osoblaha
Osoblaha (German Hotzenplotz, jiddisch Hotz'plotz, Polish Osobłoga) is a city in the Okres Bruntál. It lies in the micro region Osoblaha.

history
from 1904 to 1944 gave it in the city a Klöppelnschule. The center of the city was at the end 2. World war completely destroyed.
The city Hotzenplotz had at the 1. December of 1930 2237 inhabitants, to 17. May 1939 were there 2137 and to 22. May 1947 of only 421 inhabitants. Due to the Benesch decrees the German population 1945 was expropriated and driven out.
objects of interest
the place an old Jewish cemetery with graves from that 17 Jh., that has to the Stadtmauer from that 16. Jh. borders. It stands under monument protection.
The baroque church of the. Hl. Nikolaus is at the cemetery.
Between Osoblaha and Třemešná (Röwersdorf) a narrow-gauge railway operates with a track width of 760 mm since 1898. This is at the same time the only narrow-gauge railway distance claimant by the Czech state railway enterprise České dráhy.
nature reservations
with Osoblaha the nature reservation Velký Pavlovický lies rybník. In the nature reservation „jungle “is a part of the jungle Lužní.
