Otto Mayer
Otto Mayer (* 29. March 1846 in Fürth, † 8. August 1924 in Hilpertsau) was lawyer, administrative law scientist and Kirchenrechtler. He was Wegbereiter of the German administrative law science.
Mayer was starting from 1882 at the university in Strasbourg, where he itself habilitierte and also professor for administrative law became later. it changed 1903 to the University of Leipzig. Outgoing from the French administrative law he was Wegbereiter of the German administrative law science, which reached a high point in the Kodifikation of the general administrative proceedings right 1976 in the administrative proceedings law.
