Příbor
Příbor (German free mountain in Mähren) is one of the oldest cities in the northeast Mährens in Tschechien. It extends along the banks of the river Lubina. From three sides it is surrounded by Vorberge of the Beskiden with prospect on Štrambérská trúba, Hukvaldy and Radhošt. The city has 8,789 inhabitants (conditions: 31. December 2003) on a surface of 22,14 km ².

history
the history of the city, which belonged to the diocese Olomouc, are coined/shaped by the public education. For this the High School of the Piaristen contributed a large contribution , which 1694 were created. Of the Pfarrei led school existed already 1541. After the mechanism of the institute for teaching profession 1875 the city became a center of the education in the northeast Mährens.
