Partido Acción Nacional de México
of the Partido Acción Nacional (PAN) is a conservative party in Mexico. Beside the Partido Revolucionario Institucional (PRI) and the Partido de la Revolución Democrática (PRD) is it one of the three large parties of Mexico.
The PAN 1939 were created and place since 2000 with Vicente Fox Quesada the president of Mexico.
The PAN is the first party, to which it succeeded to terminate the PRI rule for many decades. 1983 won the PAN the local election in 31 cities in the north of Mexico. It obtained first successes on Federal State level 1989 in Baja California and 1992 in Chihuahua, where it placed the governor in each case. In the following years it was successful in further Federal States, suffered however in the year 2004 clear losses.
