Paul Trendelenburg

Paul Trendelenburg (* 24. March 1884 in Bonn; † 4. November 1931 in Berlin), was a German Pharmakologe.

Trendelenburg was born as son of the surgeon Friedrich Trendelenburg and a brother of the lawyer Ernst Trendelenburg.

Due to a Tuberkuloseerkrankung it did not participate in the First World War. It habilitierte itself 1912 and was a professor for pharmacology and toxicology at the universities of Tartu 1918, Rostock from 1919 to 1923, Freiburg in mash gau of 1923 to 1927 and Berlin starting from 1927.

He particularly worked in the areas of the autonomous nervous system, the Narkose and the internal secretion.
