Pinakothek of the modern trend
the Pinakothek of the modern trend at the cash road in the resident of Munich urban district 3 max suburb accommodates four from each other independent museums, which lead the most diverse ranges of the art in a world-wide singular constellation transnational before eyes under its roof: the collection modern trend art (those for its part a part of the Bavarian state painting collections is), the new collection (the national museum for applied art), the museum of architecture DO Munich as well as the national graphic collection.
The architect Stephan brown rock sketched the modern and open, from architecture critics unanimously as succeeded estimated building. The Pinakothek of the modern trend was opened in September 2002 and welcomed after only one and a half years already the zweimillionsten visitor. The building project was financed by donations from the population and by the Free State of Bavaria.
