Priepert is a municipality in the district Mecklenburg Strelitz in the south Mecklenburg Vorpommerns. The municipality is administered by the office Mecklenburgian small sea-plate, with seat in Mirow.
The municipality Priepert became to 7. May 1990 from the municipality at that time Strasen Priepert extracted (Strasen is in the meantime a local part of the city nature mountain).

Geografie
Priepert lies approx. 17 km south of Neustrelitz. The municipality is framed by the elbow lake in the south and the large Priepertsee in the north. By both seas and the place the Havel flows. In the north of the Gemeindegebietes the Wangnitzsee and the small Priepertsee lie. Half of the Gemeindegebietes is covered of forest.
