Professional Continental team

Professional Continental team are cycle racing crews, which participate to the UCI Europe route. Since the UCI introduced the UCI pro route as new running series in the year 2005, the Professional Continental team takes over approximately the role of the former GSII teams. In addition to the UCI Europe route the former GSIII teams participate, which are called now Continental teams.
