Puerto Rico is published a fastidious strategy - board play for 3 to 5 players of the play author Andreas Seyfarth, in the Ravensburger play publishing house, and/or. their label Alea. Exist alsoVariants for 2 players or with additional buildings (see below).
2002 won it the German play price.
The topic is the economic development of an island in the Karibik. The players put on Plantagen , build buildings for the production of corn, Indigo, sugar, tobacco, coffee, produce, sell and ship.
A simpler variant is the pack of cards San Juan appeared afterwards, which contains both spielerisch and graphically elements of Puerto Rico. It is however simpler and forFew player rather suitably as the more fastidious Puerto Rico.
