Rafz is a political municipality in the district le-laughs in the northwest of the canton Zurich in Switzerland.

geography
Rafz is the close German border on 424 m u. M. (Post office), the surface of the municipality amounts to 1074 hectars. With a number of inhabitants of 3432 persons (conditions at the beginning of of 2003) 503 foreigners , 1915 are Evangelist and 708 Roman catholic. The 1974 hectars large municipality surface builds itself up as follows: Agriculture 52%, forest 33%, traffic 3%, settlements 11%.
