Regnitzlosau is a municipality circle-belonging in the northeast of Upper Franconia, thus in the Free State of Bavaria. The municipality is Czech with its local part Hinterprex of one of the three adjoining owner places - Frankish (Bavarian) - of the Saxonian Dreiländerecks in the Vogtland.
The municipality is member of the Czech-German combination of friends in the heart of Europe.
