The history of the young Land of the Federal Republic

In accordance with the resolutions that Potsdamer conference went to 15. July 1945 the crew sovereignty in the area of the today's Rhineland-Palatinate of the Americans on the Frenchmen over. These arranged the area first provisionally into two "upper presidencies" Rheinland Hessen Nassau (for the so far Prussian governmental districts and/or. Areas Koblenz, Trier and Montabaur) and Hessen Pfalz (for the Bavarian Pfalz and the before Hessen-intestine-urban Rhinehesse). The country Rhineland-Palatinate became to 30. August 1946 by regulation of the French military government production, whereby historically and economically matching areas (Koblenz Bonn, Rhine Main) of the former Prussian Rhine province were separated. A binding of the likewise French administered Saarland did not become certified from the French military government. To 22.
