Robert W. Holley
Robert William Holley (* 28. January 1922 in Urbana, Illinois, the USA; † 11. February 1993 in lot Gatos, California, the USA) was an US-American biochemist.
Holley succeeded in the year 1962 for the first time the isolation of a transfer RNA, two years later sequenzierte it the alanine tRNA. it kept 1968 common with Har Gobind Khorana and marshal Warren kidney mountain the Nobelpreis for physiology or medicine for the interpretation of the genetic code and its function with the protein synthesis.
