Roberto Arlt
Roberto Godofredo Arlt (* 2. April 1900 in Buenos Aires; † 26. July 1942) was an Argentine storyteller, dramatist, a poet and a journalist.
Born as a son of an ethnic German of father it went its getting along to the hauptschule to Córdoba and became a journalist securing first in order. Later it returned to its hometown Buenos Aires and became among other things 1927 police correspondents with the Crítica (=Kritik). Its appearing weekly and columns Aguafuertes summarized in book form porteñas, which appeared in the daily paper “El Mundo”, rank later among the classical authors of the Argentine literature. 1929 its novel El acting of growing up a young person in a marginal Barrio of Buenos Aires juguete rabioso published. Far published it lot siete locos (dt. Sieved erring), lot lanzallamas (dt. The flame throwers) and El Amor Brujo. Starting from 1930 up to its death it was then practically only active for the theatre. Arlt described the lives of its time was coined/shaped from the world wars and the economic depression. Time of its life busy it also a Obsession: the sudden wealth. Its occupation as journalist and an author could not give this to it, a win in Lotto was just as little forthcoming, therefore there was only the possibility of coming as ingenious inventors to money. Arlt dedicated itself in its last Lebensjahren to the invention of the synthetic stocking. However its experiments, for which it used nearly its whole fortune, were crowned not with success. It is considered today as one to most important Argentine writers and numerous authors of the following generations affected (among other things Ricardo Piglia).
