Roland Barthes

Roland Barthes (* 12. November 1915 in Cherbourg; † 25. March 1980 in Paris) was a famous French literary critic, writer, a philosopher and a Semiotiker 20. Century. It used the methods of the Strukturalismus and the Dekonstruktion, in addition, the psychoanalysis, in order to examine from Marxist view modern social phenomena such as texts, films, mode or the love.
