South is one British Skirt volume, of the 3 members the Joel Cadbury (Singing, Bass, Guitar), Jamie McDonald (Leadgitarre, Singing, Schlagzeug) and board Shaw (Schlagzeug, Key board, Guitar) one based in in former times youth time. South were at first with Mo'Wax records, the label of U.N.K.L.E.- Mastermind James Lavelle under contract and stood for it for live appearances and photographsRemixe to its projects in music to the side.

Stilistisch are South rather in the experimentelleren range, somewhere between Space skirt, Trip Hop and Britpop. Since the last album they any more are not with Mo'Wax, which is to be constituted also at the decreased Beatigkeit total album.

Impressing with live appearances is the constant instrument change between the volume members, by which one recognizes unanimity that volume.
