Stephan Elmas

Stephan Elmas (* 24. December 1864 in Smyrna, † 11. August 1937 in Geneva) was a Turkish composer and pianist of Armenian origin.

Elmar studied in Vienna with Anton Door piano and with Franz Krenn composition. It undertook concert journeys as a pianist and established themselves finally 1911 in Geneva. 1925 he became honour citizen of Geneva. It composed four piano concerts, one piano quartet, four Klaviersonaten and pieces of salon for the piano.
