Steyler mission sisters
the Steyler mission sisters are called officially “maids of the holy spirit” (SSpS, Congregatio Servarum white spirits Sancti) and are a Roman-catholic missionary woman medal.
The community was created 1889 by the holy Arnold Janssen, the Generalsuperior of the society of the Göttlichen of word, first Oberin became the blessed Helena lug work, whose major task was the training of mission sisters. The nut/mother house province is also today still in Steyl, the Netherlands.
2005 give it to 3,738 Steyler mission sisters.
