Sukow Levitzow is a municipality in the east of the district Güstrow in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (Germany). The municipality is administered by the office Mecklenburgian Switzerland with seat in the city not office-belonging Teterow. The municipality originated in to 13. June 2004 from the union of the before times independent municipalities Levitzow and Sukow Marienhof.

Geografie
the municipality Sukow Levitzow north that Mecklenburgian Switzerland lies between the cities Teterow and Gnoien in a hilly area, that to the south to approx. 25 km ² large valley around the Teterower lake drops. East of Sukow Levitzow the valley of the upper Peene runs. The southeast part of the Gemeindegebietes lies in the nature park Mecklenburgian Switzerland and Kummerower lake.

a slawische fleeing castle, which ranks among the oldest in Mecklenburg proven, existed local parts Levitzow Marienhof Sukow [work on]. Excavations of the museum for Ur and early history Schwerin resulted in that it concerns with slawischen ceramic(s) saved here the oldest pieces of find of this kind in Mecklenburg. To these pieces the name Sukower group applies.
1314 were mentioned for the first time Sukow in a document. Of the beginning 16. Century up to the end 19. Century was the property in the possession of those of Blücher. The local part Marienhof originated in only at the end 19. Century as Vorwerk.
The local part Levitzow emerges 1304 for the first time documentary. The village church is probably still 20 years older, on which the Roman round elbow windows let close.
Into the 1930er years came West German, catholic settlers into the Gemeindegebiet. Beside the Evangelist the local part Levitzow has therefore also a catholic church (builds years in the center of the 1950er), which for Mecklenburgian municipalities is rather rare.
The Wassermühle existing since 1894 is worth seeing in Levitzow - today standing under monument protection - and the Levitzower property house.
