Tamm is a municipality in the district Ludwigsburg in Baden-Wuerttemberg.
It is to about 20 km north the state capital Stuttgart in 240 to 300 meters height because of the foot of the Hohenasperg.
The municipalitywith approx. 12,000 inhabitants is a popular Wohngemeinde with industry, trade and agriculture. Different populated areas, a direct connection to A 81 over the connection point Ludwigsburg north, the binding to Stuttgart traffic group as well as various purchase possibilities in closer environment make Tamm an ideal housing location.
By those approx. 30 local associations are ordered various possibilities for the leisure activities. Sport and tennis facilities as well as an association-own gymnasium can be used the whole year. The center of the cultural life forms the former Kelter, which was converted 1985 to the community centre.
In direct proximity thatKelter in the old local centre are also the old city hall and the historical hotel ox.
A certain measure of popularity reached the locality in the Internet in the player municipality of the computer game Counter Strike by the clan of the same name, which was created by inhabitants Tamms.
