as TAP (English. for knock; Pl.: Taps) one designates a consonant , which results from a unique movement of the tongue tapping on the articulation place in the phonetics. It is similar Flap, only that it contrary to the Flap, with which the tongue moves after the articulation into the rest position (behind the lower teeth), the tongue point directly from the rest position to the articulation place taps.
There are bilabiale and uvulare Taps.
