Tilemann Grimm
Professor. Dr. phil. Tilemann Grimm (* 27. February 1922 in Höxter; † 25. July 2002) was full professor for Sinologie (Chinese culture, history and languages) in Münster (Westphalia) (1962 - 1965), Bochum (1965 - 1974) and Tübingen (1974 - 1989).
Grimm was among other things well-known as Maoism - expert. 1967 appeared its translation of the red book, which is still used also today. Its 1970 published Monografie over Mao Zedong experienced numerous new editions and is still available.
In addition it employeditself for example with the Ming - time and with Burma.
