Drinking container
coffee or dte cup
of drinking containers are containers, which serve the supply of the beverages for their consumption.
One can differentiate between drinking containers:
- after its construction
- after its substance
- organic substance: Horn, (drinking horn), wood, plant bowls (z. B. Kürbis), also animal bowls (z. B. Shells), leather
- metal: (z. B. Gold, silver, tin, sheet metal)
- glass
- of ceramic(s) (z. B. Porcelain, faience, stoneware)
- of plastics
- after their contents
- Water: (Water glass)
- juice, Juice: (General-purpose glass)
- of dte: Dte glass, dte cup, dte bowl
- coffee: Coffee cup
- beer: Seidel, wheat beer glass, measure jug, Humpen, beer boot
- wine (i. w. S.): Rotweinglas, weissweinglas, Dubbeglas, Roman cup, Bowlenglas, sparkling wine glass, sparkling wine bowl
- liquor:
- after its purpose
- cup, one-way container
in Southeast Asia cold beverages at the road are also often drunk with a straw from zugeknoteten plastic bags.
