Tristán farmer
Tristán farmer (* 22. June 1959 in Mar del Plata, Argentina) is an Argentine film director, film script author and a cameraman.
Farmer studied direction and was thereupon as a cameraman with numerous Argentine and Latin American film productions active. Starting from beginning of the 1990er it led direction and wrote the film script with several documentary films and won with its first feature, after the storm, some honors. Its documentary films bring up for discussion usually literary personalities, so also Cortázar, a price-crowned haven-guessed/advised over Argentine writer the Julio Cortázar. Its 1999 published film the books and the night acts of Jorge Luis Borges.
For its war drama Iluminados por el fuego received farmer 2006 the Goya in the category „best one foreign film in Spanish language “and could among other things against Álvaro Buela become generally accepted.
