Those PLAY THE TRUMP CARD group is a German enterprise of the manufacturing and medical technology. It consists of three divisions with five fields of activity. With machine tools for the sheet metal working and shaping as well as within the range of industrieller laser and laser systems the enterprise of one is the world market leader. 45 subsidiaries and addresses in nearly all European countries, in north - and as well as in Asia exist to South America. Production locations are in Germany, France, Austria, in Switzerland, in Taiwan, in the USA and in the People's Republic of China. The head office is in Ditzingen close Stuttgart.

core business is machines and plants for the flexible sheet metal working to punching and transforming, for the Laserbearbeitung, for the combined punching and Laserbearbeitung and for bending. Standardized system components make automated manufacturing solutions possible. The electric power tools supplement the broad spectrum of stationary machine tools for the sheet metal working.
laser technology/electronics
[work on] laser systems for cutting, welding and laser forms of three-dimensional parts, Hochleistungs-CO2-Laser as well as lamp and diode-pumped solid lasers, inscription lasers and - systems. history
the beginnings
of 1923 acquires Christian plays the trump card with two partners the mechanical workshop Julius violonist GmbH in Stuttgart. The enterprise manufactures flexible waves , which are used among other things with machines to metalworking. A further product of the company are engine-claimant Handscheren for cutting sheet metal. Increasing of the enterprise makes a removal necessary into larger production plants. The company pulls 1933 into Stuttgart suburb the Weilimdorf. During the Second World War the product program is not changed. The manufacturing plants remain intact and it about twenty French immigrant workers are employed. They experience the same treatment and remuneration as the German workers.

The conversion exceeds the one million D-mark border in this year. 1960 is employed 325 coworkers and the conversion amounts to 11 million DM. The stationary machines cause an enlargement and an internationalization of the enterprise: 1963 develop in the Swiss course the first foreign company.

1968 one presents the first sheet metal working machine with numeric path control with the TRUMATIC 20. It makes for the first time a work routine possible fully automatic up to the tool change. All information, which is needed for the treatment of the workpiece, is stored on paper tapes. The TRUMATIC 20 becomes on the 11. European machine tool exhibition in of Paris much considers.
One year later creates the enterprise a subsidiary in Farmington, Connecticut, in the USA. Farmington is in the meantime second largest location of the enterprise and Headquarter for the entire American market. 1972 shift the enterprise its head office after Ditzingen. 1978 become Berthold Leibinger of acting partners. The enterprise constantly grows and still creates in the same year a subsidiary in Japan.

It changes as a chairman into the supervisory board of the enterprise. His daughter Dr. Nicola Leibinger Kammüller becomes a new chairman of the management.
