Tuiskon Ziller

Tuiskon Ziller (* 22. December 1817 in Wasungen (Saxonia Meiningen), † 20. April 1882 in Leipzig) was a German philosopher and paedagogue (Herbartianer).

Ziller studied philology in Leipzig, worked some years as Gymnasiallehrer, referred again the University of Leipzig to the study forwardseverything of the rights, also 1853 habilitierte itself daselbst as a legal private lecturer, began however 1854 over Pädagogik to read, in order to exclusively dedicate itself from now on to this. 1861 it created an educational seminar, to which it caused 1862 with the help of an association of schoolmates a exercise school. 1864he was appointed the extraordinary professor. Ziller was a prominent figure of the Herbartianismus and starting from 1868 of establishment chairmen of the association for scientific Pädagogik.

From 1860 to 1865 it gave with allit (??) the magazine for accurate philosophy (Köthen), from 1865 on also ball onthe monthly sheets for scientific Pädagogik (Leipzig) out. In place that the yearbook of the association for scientific Pädagogik stepped the latters since 1868.
