“the 'Federación Venezolana de Fútbol “(FVF) in the today's form was created only 1951. 1925 were the first national football federation, which Federación Nacional de Fútbol, based, who had however no durable existence. In the years from 1932 to 1938 you followed the league Venezolana , which was replaced to 1938 by the Asociación Nacional de Fútbol. Only the Federación Venezolana de Fútbol received however in November 1951 the acknowledgment of FIFA and Venezolani olympic Komittée.
The national team, mentioned “La Vinotinto” (the wine-red), was to a few years ago few and/or. no success gegönnt. Football was played practically only at universities and in not kind very professional for our terms.
With the Copa América the national team place 5 occupied 1967 in Uruguay, however only six crews participated. The Vinotinto succeeded here their first victory in an official tournament with 3:0 against tournament-last Bolivia to 28. January 1967. The first point gain in a WM-qualification became in the qualification the world championship 1970 at the 3. August 1969 in Caracas with a 1:1 against the Colombian national team reaches.
