Victor Mature (* 29. January 1915 in Louisville, Kentucky, † 4. August 1999 in Rancho Santa Fe, California; actually Victor Joseph Maturi) was an US-American actor.

He was discovered on the stage of the Pasadena Community Playhouse. It had its first main role in the film One million B.C. in the year 1940. After this it joined the 20th Century Fox . To entrance of the USA into the Second World War it announced itself to the service at the weapon.
