Vimperk

the city Vimperk (German winter mountain) is 696 m a city lain highly in the valley of the Wolin (Volynka) in Tschechien in the Okres Prachatice in the Südböhmi region with 8.089 inhabitants (1. January 2004).

The city is appropriate for about 20 km far away from the German border. The city burned in 19. Century several times off. Vimperk was a center of the böhmischen glass industry, in the earlier local part Adolf (Adolfov) was the Adolfhütte, a glasswork operated by the company Meyr's nephew.
