Weyarn is a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district bad brook. Many drivers is in particular the motorway exit Weyarn at the federal motorway 8 Munich - Salzburg a term.
history
1133 took place the establishment of the Augustinerchorherrenklosters in Weyarn via count Sigeboth von Neuburg-Falkenstein, who possessed a hunting seat “Wiare” there. 1978 were formed the municipality of the same name Weyarn from the municipalities Wattersdorf, Holzolling as well as parts of the municipalities Gotzing and enriching village. 2000 were represented Bavaria in the world-wide project “village 2000” during the world exhibition EXPO 2000 by Weyarn.
