Weyer is a municipality circle-belonging in Rhineland-Palatinate (Germany) with 519 inhabitants in the Rhine Lahn circle. It is member of the convention community Loreley.
history
Weyer is mentioned for the first time as „Wilre " around 1250 in a Lehensverzeichnis of the Mr. von Eppstein. The place was hessian until 1806. Starting from 1816 the duchy Nassau incorporated, it came with this to Rhineland-Palatinate.
Today is Weyer admits for its bunch farm, the moving ways and the grandiosen view over the Rhine ditch in the Hunsrück.
