Viennese seminar for priests
Viennese the seminar for priests is the training centre for world priests of the Erzdiözese Vienna.
history
it was created 1758 by archbishop Christoph Anton count Migazzi and is to serve the training of the Diözesanklerus.
Long time was in the Curhaus (also Churhaus) at the step Hans place in Vienna, which was supplemented 1805 under archbishop Sigismund Anton count von Hohenwart, in order to be able to take up more seminarists.
Under cardinal Franz Xaver Nagl became a former orphanage in the Boltzmanngasse in 9. Viennese district converted and extends. The removal took place in the summer 1914. Since that time is there accommodated Viennese the seminar for priests.
The present of rain is Nikolaus Krasa, the present mirror-image ritual is Pater Erich Drösler SJ.
