Extensible Dependency Grammar (XDG) is newer Meta Grammatikformalismus, up Dependency grammar been based.
XDG analyzes natural-language expressions along an unlimited number of firstonce from each other independently regarded dimensions, z.B. syntactic function, Word position, Descriptor argument structure, Skopus, Prosodie and information structure. Each of these dimensions for itself is subject to a quantity of Wohlgeformtheitsbedingungen, the linear principles, z.B. Valence (linguistics).
Additionally the dimensions are subject together to a quantity of multi-dimensional principles how Climbing and Linking, those the relation of several dimensions among themselves determine.
XDG is the successor of Topological Dependency Grammar (TDG).
