Young British Artists

Young British Artists (YBAs) is the name for 1988 a British artist movement developed. Most founders studied at the Londoner Goldsmiths college.

In the year 1988 organized the group the much-considered exhibition Freeze in the Londoner of dock country. She was filmed by the BBC, the film was several times radiated later. 1997 followed the Austellung sensation.

The group was promoted by the collecting tank Charles Saatchi. It visited the exhibition Freeze and began to collect the works of the artists.
