Zolling is a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district freesings and seat of the central administrative body of the same name.

geography
the municipality lies six kilometers north of freesings in the Ampertal and covers the municipality parts but mountain, Anglberg, Flitzing, oak yard, Gerlhausen, hair country, Hacklschwaig, hard living, Haun, felling trees, Kratzerimbach, Moos, MOO mill, Oberappersdorf, Oberzolling, oil by mountain, Osterimbach, Palzing, Siechendorf, Thann, Unterappersdorf, will RTS living and milling RTS living.
history
already 744 Zolling in one of the oldest documents in the “tradition of the high pin freesing mentioned”, as a certain Moatbert and his Mrs. Totana to 12. Since this landed property was very extensive however, Zolling must have existed for a long time before this first mention. Zolling belonged before the secularization to the high pin freesings as a closed yard Mark, which was waived 1803 with the high pin. From fusion of the former yard Marks and the formerly down-Bavarian chairman shank Siechendorf 1818 in the course of the administrative reforms in Bavaria the independent political municipality resulted. 1970 to 1972 the historical-rich places Anglberg, Flitzing, Thann, Palzing and Appersdorf were integrated.
