Palana

Palana (Russian: Пала́на) is an urban settlement and the administrative center of Koryakia Autonomous District in Kamchatka Oblast, Russia. It is located on the west coast of the Kamchatka Peninsula on the right bank of the Palana River, within eight kilometers from the Sea of Okhotsk. Population: 4,800 (2002).
