Ricky Hill

Ricky Hill is a former English footballer and manager. He was born in Paddington on 5.3.59.

Ricky made 436 League appearances for Luton Town FC, scoring 54 goals in the process, from 1975 to 1988. He earned 3 full England caps during this time. In 1988 he moved on a free transfer to French club Le Havre. He had a brief spell at Leicester City before heading abroad to be player/coach with the Tampa Bay Rowdies in the US. He followed two seasons at Tampa with two at Cocoa Expos before going into coaching full-time back in England.

In 1996, he was appointed the youth team coach at Sheffield Wednesday. In July 2000 he was named manager of Luton, but unfortunately the team did not perform well and he was relieved of his duties in November.

Ricky spent two years as a footballers' agent before getting back into coaching with Trinidad & Tobago side San Juan Jabloteh.
