Siberian Federal District
Siberian Federal District (Russian: Сиби́рский федера́льный о́круг; tr.: Sibirsky federalny okrug) is one of the seven federal districts of Russia. It is the central of the three Asian districts. Its population was about 20.28 million in 2002. The Current Presidential Envoy to Siberian Federal District is Anatoly Kvashnin.
It should not be confused with Siberia, which includes the whole of Asian Russia except close to the Pacific.
