The vesicle is located underneath the liver, it stores and it concentrates the bile that takes place in this organ and that helps in the digestion of fats. The bile is released by the biliary vesicle in the superior part of the thin intestine (duodeno), in answer to the food, specially of fats. The conditions that delay or obstruct the flow of the bile cause the disease of the biliary vesicle.
