In the animal
Various forms, sporadic or infectious are known in the animals. Among noninfectious hepatitises, one will quote itdiffuse acute hepatitis or parenchymatous (which can however be due to an infection) and suppurée hepatitis or abscess of the liver, often under the dependence of a foreign body. Chronic hepatitises or cirrhoses divide in the animals into hematogen cirrhosis, biliary cirrhosis and cardiac cirrhosis, according to the pathogenic origin.
